Mashed Madness: Durant, Nowitzki And More NBA Players Receive Personalized Potatoes In Mail NBA Life

MVP debates, the race for Playoff spots and seedings isn’t hot enough. The new rage in the league is players receiving “potatoes with personalized messages” in their mail. In what seemed like a one-off, Dirk Nowitzki was perhaps the first to receive one, probably wishing him for his huge accomplishment last week:

 


Turns out there were more potatoes on their way to other NBA players. Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant, currently rehabbing from a Grade 2 MCL  sprain and tibial bone bruise, got one with a get-well-soon message on it:

 


And if one wasn’t enough, somebody sent C.J. Miles two potatoes. His wife took to Twitter to share images of the unexpected mail:
