Stats Domination: LeBron Surpasses Kobe, Climbs Playoff Rebounding List; Ginobili Hits 200 NBA Playoffs

If there was a word to describe today’s playoff games, historic would be the way to go. And it was all down to LeBron James and his single-handed victory over the Pacers.

The King had to work hard for the Game 3 W, but managed to notch up quite a few records along the way. To begin with, he surpassed Los Angeles Lakers’ legend Kobe Bryant on the career playoff scoring list. James overtook Bryant (5640 career playoff points), with his 41-point triple-double, to move into third place with 5670 career playoff points. He also overtook Bryant on the 3-point shooting front:

 


James also hit a new high on the NBA Playoffs career rebounding list on the same night.

 


And ‘Bron did all of this while hitting his 17th triple-double to once again cement his legacy as one of the greatest players of his generation.
