Dirk Nowitzki was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks and immediately traded to the Mavericks, with the 9th pick in the 1998 Draft. A 19-year veteran, Nowitzki is a 13-time All-Star and has been nominated 12 times to the All-NBA teams. He led the Mavericks to their only title when they beat the Miami Heat and their Big 3 (LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh) 4-2 in the 2011 NBA Finals. Nowitzki has played 37 games for Dallas this season and is averaging 13.9 ppg and 6.7 rpg. His career averages are 21.8 ppg and 7.8 rpg.
